    I'm a “plant collector”, artist and garden designer.

    I spent several years in the 90’s volunteering with “The Orchidman” Paul Gilmet who was the grower and head of the orchid greenhouse at Fredrick Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park here in Grand Rapids, MI. I’ve had orchids since 1990 and of course am limited in what I grow by the accommodations I have to grow them. In recent years I’ve discovered I’m drawn to scent more than ever. One of my favorites is brassavola nodosa 'tho I do have some that I love with no scent like lepanthes telipogoniflora
