Hello......My name's Diana and I'm from a small town in Kansas. I've also been a lurker for a week or two gathering ideas and looking at pictures. I've got a few orchids but am finding that I'm really drawn to the miniatures because they don't take up as much space. I have some really great windows in the house for plants so that's what I'm using right now but would love to have a greenhouse some day. I'm looking forward to getting to know you all and gather some information.......and, by the way.......I don't drink beer!!!!!

Welcome, Diana! I'm primarily a windowsill grower right now, too, there are a lot of great plants you can grow that way.

Oh come on Diana, everyone likes beer. Well, except for Marni, that is true. She prefers a nice menage a trois. ;)

    :D

Wine, of course, is a suitable substitute for beer and those of us in California highly recommend it.

Hi Diane, welcome to the forum. Nevermind Forrest, he's tetched.

    And one for Dale:

Geez, Forrest, you act like you own the place, or something. :D Maybe you should create a subforum for those who tend to be easily offended. I wonder what we could call it?

My husband is a farmer and I'm a homemaker!!! We're also very involved in church........hint, hint, hint, Forrest!!! LOL

I have a male friend who collects antique toys. He's gay so maybe 'girl stuff' is right.
I used to collect Cambridge glass and the Red Poppy pattern of Hall China. Now, I just collect dust... :-D
