A cool leafless orchid

    This is Microcoelia exilis. I picked this up at a local show from a grower who had a couple in the show. I just happened to ask if he would sell one and to my surprise he said yes! These are quite hard to find...

    It is a small grower with very tiny white flowers. Really grown for it's leafless nature. I mist it every couple of days.

    Yup, you don't often see those plants available in the US. Nice plant, Peter.

    FYI, Andy's Orchids has another species available.

    I have seen these avaliable. I picked up one not all that long ago. It was either Rosella, Dark Star or Easy
