A few chiloschista (leafless!) species

    I really like the genus Chiloschista. They seem pretty easy to grow and bloom like crazy. A single plant can throw off 2-5 spikes easy!

    Hmmm...secret? I grow these in my intermediate greenhouse with temps ranging from 50-85 degrees. The are all mounted (of course!) and i mist them every day or two. They get bright filtered light, at least 50-60% shade. I try not to have them too wet as the crown is susceptible to rot. Humidity averages about 50-60%. That's how i grow them!

    Thanks, Peter, maybe I'll try some brighter, the light is the only thing that sounds different. You make it sound so easy and look so good.

    Thanks Marni....now if i could only keep my Masdevallias alive! Yours are spectacular!

    Oh i should also add i use only pure water on these, with a little MSU fertilizer on every misting.
