    Mine just bloomed for the first time. Nice flower to plant size ratio!

    Really nice...mine blasted last year. Do the spikes on this take a while to develop?

    Very very nice! It is one of my favorites. Sadly mine has struggled the past two years after blooming reliably for two or three. Perhaps you should consider converting to Anglicanism. :rolleyes:

    On my recent first blooming the spike took one month to develop.

    Big difference here, Pook. There was a four to five months of waiting period, from the time I noticed the green eye of the spike to the time it blooms. That is very consistent for the last few years.

    Edit--just a note: the spikes will grow very slow(almost doing nothing for a long while), then in March, they start to grow fast...
