    Turns out the francoisii is an umbonata, but I'm not complaining (my fault with mislabelling). I got it from Malala a while back (the only survivor from that order!) Ended up making a 3 hour drive back to replace a pump and it was worth it cause I got to see this! I hope this one has more flowers the next time, since I've seen some with quite a few flowers

    Very nice Calvin! Having to make the drive back was probably not the ideal way to spend the day, but at least you got a nice surprise!

    Looks good. My plant from Malala has produced more flowers with each blooming, so I'd say there is a good chance yours will. Sorry you had to drive back, but at least this little guy made it more worth your while.
