Another one that produces a lot of flower mass for a very little vegetative mass. This one hangs out near Aer distincta in the cooler end of the GH (still pretty warm). Very disappointing photos ... gotta work on that.

That's something truly special! Is this a Malala plant?

The peachy brown color is much stronger & more vibrant than the photo shows. My camera really struggles with light peach & salmon colors. In good natural light the color really is amazing.

Before the GH was up & running plants bloomed more or less randomly & many of them went through a season without blooming at all - no doubt due to less than ideal conditions. Now pretty much everything blooms regularly so I have a better feel for normal blooming periods. Most of the Aerangis are in bloom right now - a few slightly earlier and a few are just throwing spikes now (kotschyana, macocentra, citrata) - but in general this is Aerangis season, at least in these conditions. The Angraecums, by contrast, seem to bloom over a much wider range of time.

You're welcome in this GH any time. Remember though ... we have hippies here in California.

Bravo! This species is not known for its ease of culture (at least not the imported plants).
