6" flower. I'm not really happy with the image, but it is better than nothing and I know mrbreeze will appreciate it.

Wow! For those that don't know, fuscata is really quite rare. I'm pretty sure mine is tagged as umbonata, a syn. And mine has about half the number of leaves that yours has. :( I think the Aerangis species with that general flower form, are my favorites.

Where did it come from? Thanks for posting it!

Mine came from Malala in Madagascar in 2005 and it was labeled umbonata. I looked it up and found that fuscata was the accepted name. Is yours in bloom? I would love to get/trade pollen if it is. Mine only has three leaves, but seems quite happy. In spite of the literature saying it grows from sea level to 1500m, I grow it quite cool. I also give it a winter rest.

I have two more angs to photograph in the next day or two.

I think i saw one of these for sale at the local garden centre here (they had a little "orchid do" recently), not blooming size, but...

I think you need to do some shopping. They don't take up much space. I'm growing this with my Rhync. cervantesii with a bit less light.
