Pioneer is a cross of mystacidii x kotschyana. This particular plant is the first to bloom from a flask i purchased 2 years ago.

As expected, it has a lovely fragrance at night.

I made this cross in September 2016 without realizing it had already been registered in 1998. They are just in final flasks now. It kind of ruins the surprise of seeing one of my seedlings bloom for the first time, but good to know it is such a graceful thing.

Here is another clone from the same flask as the aerangis above. There are fewer flowers but they are slightly larger and have more substance.

I've sorta developed a collection of angs and I'm really not disappointed they're great for my conditions and habits so I'll definitely try to get this one

This is a very nice and tolerant hybrid.
