    Description: This species is from Philippines

    Culture:

    Temps:
    - Summer: 65-75F
    - Winter: 55-70F or slightly cooler

    Light: Low light

    Humidity: 60-80%

    Air circulation: Breeze

    Growing location: under light in the basement year round

    Growing medium: Mount - Other, Pot - Clay

    Growing medium notes: Mounted on hardwood stick with a little bit of moss.
    Also can be potted in straight moss or CHC mix

    Water:
    - Frequency: Mounted plant--water daily year round; Potted plant--keep it moist but not wet, I water mine once a week.
    - Fertilizer & frequency: 2x per month during the growing season; less during the colder months
    - Dry rest: No.

    Blooming season: Spring, Winter

    Flower size: The fragrant flower is about 2.25" wide and spike length is about 4-6"

    Plant size: A slow growing monopodial orchid. It is a miniature/small plant.

    Other firsthand observations: It can be grow a bit brighter and cooler than A. philippinensis. 1500-1800FC is a good light level for A. monticola
