tiny volunteer.jpg This is a little off the wall, but I have a small volunteer plant sprouting in a few pots in my greenhouse. I have seen it before but wondered if anyone here knows what it is? Tiny leaves are just 1/16th of an inch. Thanks Kipper

Looks like "artillery plant", or Pilea microphylla. It shoots its seeds everywhere (like artillery), and is a common greenhouse weed...although sometimes grown as a house plant.

And yes, it is an issue.

Invasive terrestrial plants inhabiting an orchid pot will eventually fill the pot with their roots, suffocating the orchid roots.

I have those in all my succulent pots.
They are cute for a while, but as Ray said they are overwhelming everything.
I let the grow cause i find them pretty, and every few months I rip them to shreds :)

This plant (I didn't know what it was either), oxalis, and a variety of ferns are my top 3 weed plants.
