    I see in your master orchidarium that you have orchids mounted on a special sintetic fibre, I have a Trias picta on this fibre.. I do not understand yet whether it is a good materiale

    EGOISTA, have no idea how many orchids I will get into the new orchidarium.

    For the "fiber plates" it is Epiweb http://www.epiweb.se/english.htm. I love the material, it is inert, holds water pretty good (in humid enviroment), protect the roots, and the roots just love it! The draw back is that you may have some problem to divide your plants ant there is NO WAY you can remove the orchid without MAYOR root damage.
