Description: Described in 1836, this species is found in equatorial Africa, east to Uganda.

    Culture:

    Temps:
    - Summer: 65-85f
    - Winter: 55-80f

    Light: Medium light

    Humidity: 60-80%

    Air circulation: Breeze

    Growing location: Greenhouse

    Growing medium: Mount - Cork

    Growing medium notes:

    Water:
    - Frequency: Daily
    - Fertilizer & frequency: Daily with MSU at 1/4 recommended strength
    - Dry rest: No.

Blooming season: No defined blooming season

    Flower size: About 1cm laterally

Plant size: Growths top out aroud 4"

Other firsthand observations: A relatively easy grower. My culture is likely not ideal, but the plant grows well for me. The foliage alone makes this plant worth having.

    Other plants growing well nearby:
    Barkeria spp
    Bulbophyllum maquilinguense
