Hi, i wanted to share my almost finished orchidarium =) Credit goes to those who deserve it, i copied alot of ideas from Orchidkarma's build and Kavanaru's build on Flickr.
On the top of the waterfall i have a small water reservoir with a ultrasonic mister in it, so it never runs dry. The idea is the bottom aquarium will contain waterplants and fish once i test run the tank for a couple weeks.
The orchidarium stands in a room that gets very cold in the winter but also very hot in the summer so with the AC unit attached i manage to keep the summer temperatures to max 22°C so far.
Just a little more details to finish and then its time to get it stuffed with more new orchids =)

Very cool! Nice job. I am glad you could find some inspiration from my build. :) I like the fish tank detail, do you have a filter hidden someplace (for once you get fish in there)? Do you have any fans to circulate the air?

I have an external Eheim filter under the tank circulating the water back to the small reservoir with the mister. I dont have any fans inside yet because the AC unit is providing enough air movement but i will have to install 2 someday for during the winter months when the AC is turned off, for now i put them outside of the tank blowing over the lights to cool them down =)
