Anything by Tom Robbins. John Irving is good, too. Recent good reads are by Stephanie Kallos.

Ya know, I've yet to finish the damned book. Maybe I'll do that today.

You finish Duma Key yet??? I finished it a few days ago....great book! Stephen King rocks.

Have you read his short story 'The Mist'? To me that is his best writing. I wish they hadn't made a movie out of it...they ruined the ending.

Pillars of the Earth is one of my all time favourite books. I re-read it in front of the fire every winter. There is now also a sequel which I haven't gotten to yet

I am reading Orchid Fever by Eric Hansen. Excellent book on the orchid trade and collecting in the 80's and 90's (maybe still) and how the politically powerful in the orchid world controlled/extorted commercial growers and collectors in the name of preserving wild orchids!! I have a hard time putting it down. A must read for all orchidists!!

I picked up Revolutionary Road the other day. NOT what I expected so far. I didn't know it was written in the early 60's. It is not the same old sad, divorce-marriage breakdown saga I expected. And much more difficult to read then I anticipated. I only got to page 82 last night and I read for at least an hour.

I also bought 'Betrayal' by John Lescroart. Those two books should hold me for a few days.
