    I was trying to find a post from December of 08, but can't seem to find anything before January 2009. Do the archives not go back that far? Do they expire after a certain time? Thanks.

    Perhaps 'archives' was not the proper word. Are posts available indefinitely?

    Yes. Unless a post has been deleted by a mod, admin, or the original user, all posts are still available.

    This issue appears to have its roots in a limited number of results being returned when a user performs a search. I increased the number of results, so this issue should be resolved.

    Thanks, Jon, that fixed it. I got three more pages of results and found the post I was looking for.
