Does Arpophyllum (prob spicatum) need anything special to bloom. A friend gave me a large piece of one that he never was able to bloom. The plant got good light, so lack of light is likely not the problem.

Some of these genetically seem to be more reluctant to bloom than others. I have 2 arpophyllum giganteums hanging right next to eachother. They both get the exact same culture. One is an easy bloomer and the other has never bloomed for me. I'm going to give it another year then it's out the door.
