No. Please re-read post #7. Theresa assures me they have cooked food, too. But just in case the Indians have a gambling casino right across the street that has real food.

I wouldn't eat the sushi on the South Coast unless I wanted to regret it.

I love it, but it's an acquired taste for some. I do like sashimi too(raw). Dale, the plus about getting worms, is that it helps you retain your girlish figure.

I don't care. I'd rather be big-boned and worm free.

What do you have against worms? They have feelings too.

It was an enjoyable meal. Food was good although the waitress started hard-assin' me before I even sat down:

"Are you one of those types that call sushi 'bait'?"

    "Well, yeah. Isn't it?"

I had tempura shrimp, broccoli, zucchini, and yam; so did Rick and Theresa. They also had that bowl of stuff in the first photo. Also had miso soup which reminded me of a brown snow globe in a bowl. Couldn't resist playing in it. I even tried about half a dozen green dyed flying fish eggs. Tasteless garnish.

I'm glad you tried it, Dale - next time have some fish. I eat so much sushi I probably have mild mercury poisoning. Sometimes, my friends and I go for all-you-can-eat sushi, and we order 30 pieces of salmon sashimi each. YUM.

I had fish today. Flying fish eggs are fish. I'm goin' to the Pancake Mill next time I'm in Coos Bay. They have omelets what will make the devil swoon.

That tempura does look pretty good. I haven't had it in years, though. Every time I go somewhere that serves it, there are so many other options on the menu that tempt me.

That looks pretty yummy. I'm with you, Alexis. Tempura is tasty, but with sushi on the menu, I generally regard it as an ugly, step-child and pass on it. No offense to any ugly, step-children on the board.

They had some sushi that was wrapped in salmon skin on the menu. Rick said it was really good. I would have liked to seen it, but I wasn't interested in ordering anything like that. *shudder*
