I don't know if I should write a seperate thread, but my topic has exactly the same title as member BlueVanda. However, I think the spots on my plant are serious like a disease. The pot has two plants in it. The first 3 pictures are of the plant with the black spots. The last two pictures are of the 'healthy' plant. The healthy plant also has many new good looking air roots with nice tips.

The vanda with the spots has produced absolutely beautiful blooms many times in the past. But now it looks old and may be dying?

Should I remove the healthy plant and repot it in a seperate pot and discard the unhealthy plant (if it is indeed diseased?)?

Gjanick, I think you are right that this deserves its own thread. It is rarely a good idea to plant more than one plant together. I would definitely separate them. Hopefully someone else will have more to say about any rescue attempt.

Thrips? I have a floral thrip problem with my Rhyncholaeila digbyana. Black spots on all my blooms. I treat all the flowers with volck oil and it seems to be working pretty good so far.
