Blc. Hausermann's Holiday 'Christmas' AM/AOS

    This is my pride and joy. Big, beautiful, and fragrant. Plus it loves me. It put out 5 spikes this year with a total of 8 gorgeous flowers. I do not have the smallest hands and look at this one dwarf them. Of course the last bloom had to open upside down but I still love it.

    Nice! Looks like first photo was taken in greenhouse. Does plant show any signs of stress, when was moved from greenhouse to home?

    Yes, first photo was in the greenhouse. I waited until all but one bloom was fully open which might be why the last one opened upside down. Doesn't appear to be a bit stressed. I was worried about that. It was a short distance between greenhouse and house and we were having a warmer day when I moved it. Got the snow since then.

    This is one of the few that my mother in law considers a 'real' orchid. If they aren't big and pretty to her they are not an orchid.
