An oldie, but a goodie. It's a primary hybrid between B nodosa and B subulifolia. I didn't take the time to count, but I estimate the number of inflorescences to be approaching 100, times 4 flowers per... that makes about 400 extraordinarily fragrant flowers. The backside of the plant is equally dense with flowers and buds.

    WOW

I have been eying this one to get. Not really for the flowers but I'm a sucker for this type of foliage for some reason. This is by far the best plant I've seen of this one. Great job!

    Thanks Marni and Harry.

Harry, I really recommend you get one. The last pic I have of this plant was taken 3 years ago, when it completely filled a 6" basket. As you can see, it has grown wildly in 3 years. It now weighs about 30 pounds and won't fit through a standard doorframe without effort. And it fills the whole house with fragrance at night. (It's one of the few orchids that I bring inside when it blooms.)

Well, much to my surprise, I was in Lowes today and took a look at their bagged orchids and what did I see? A nice Brassavola 'Little Stars' with 2 emerging spikes for $12.50. :D

They actually had 3 but I left 2 in the store.

Now I'm waiting for it to grow as large as yours Alexis:rolleyes:
