First time I've bloomed this (or at least the first time I noticed). It is from Brazil, but I don't know where in particular. The leaves are very succulent and blade shaped. It reblooms from the same growth with 3 to 5 flowers per spike. The flowers are about 1/4" (7 mm) wide.

It may have been moved out of Pleurothallis, so if you have an idea of the new genus that would be a help.

Marni, it sounds/looks like the Pthl. saurocephala, but I am not very sure about it.

I checked Orchidstudium for Acianthera (Pleurothallis) sauracephalum. I don't think that is it, but I do think they are related. Quite a few of the things there looked close but not quite. Some very interesting flowers.

My eyes aren't good enough to see that texture un-aided, so I was very happy to have the close-up to see it.
