I had two spikes developing on a Vanda. I noticed one spike started to stunt and the stop growing. This has happened on my Moth orchids as well where some flowers stop growing and others go on to flower on the same spike. Please advise. ImageUploadedByOrchidsForum.com1480243753.499052.jpg

It's hard to say for sure, but I have seen that under two, different scenarios: in one case, it was an infection that had been caused by letting water sit on the buds. In the other case, it was insect or mite damage.

Thanks Ray, I find a lot of flys/big ants that constantly come out when in bud.
