Bulb burfordiensis

I bought this bulb from JEM 2 years before they closed. Friends with me laughed because it took 2 hours to decide which plant to buy. It started out with two leads. Mounted on a 8 X8 inch piece of tree fern. Grew this a little too shady previously but grew any way, didn't bloom though. This spring I moved it sit near the greenhouse roof, right above the thin leaf oncidiums. It grew up one side of the slab, I turned the slab around and it's now grown up the other side.

I water daily if the weather permits (i.e., no rain). I water with RO water, but when I fertilize I mix half tap water with half RO for buffering. i would say its grown warm.

 

Thanks guys. It took me awhile to figure out the cilia on the labellum. If you look at the labellum shot, the cilia grows along the two outer edges. I can only see it in bright light. There are four more spikes easing their way along.

This one has opened even more. The closeup shot shows 2 of the distinguishing characteristics of burfordiensis versus granddiflorum. First is the cilia on the labellum and the second is the triangular shape of the petals.
