I have had this plant for a while and it never gave me any joy. It grows well but no blooms. I asked Jon how he blooms his and he said high light. I literally hung this thing on the roof of the GH (inside, not out) and a couple months later it has been blooming its but off. Thanks Jon.

Interesting though, is that it never opens more than this. I think since it has been blooming I have seen over 50 flowers on it (I know, I have been thrilled), but they all don't open any more than this. Normally I might say humidity, but that is not likely in my conditions. If anyone has any ideas on how to resolve that let me know.

Or perhaps I don't have elevatopunctatum and I have been holding it to the wrong standards.

    Anyway, here are the pics.

That has a nice dark color...nicely done Forrest

Do they or are they supposed to open further than that though?

Mine never really open much more than that, Forrest.

    Nicely captured.

oh, maybe they are not. I had thought I had seen a picture of them fully open, similar to facetum or other similar type.

I think people incorrectly attach the name "elevatopunctatum" to vinaceum sometimes.

Love the spots! 50 flowers, huh? I'd say you've mastered its culture requirements!
