I have this young B. macrobulbon that is doing well except it has developed 2 leaf spots on one of the two newest leaves. It is grown mounted, intermediate, moist and has excellent air movement (gets direct air from an oscillating fan). Do any of you Bulbo experts out there have any ideas what this could be and how I can prevent it from occurring on any new leaves?

It's bulbo macrobulbum. Macrobulbon is the section, not the species.

I don't know the cause of it, but I've had it happen to a few plants. Unfortunately, if it spreads, the whole leaf is a lost cause.

Jon, thanks for the name correction (I think my tag is correct but my post was in error) and the info.

Thanks Dale. I just read up on mesophyll cell collapse and I think you may be correct. I had some really cold nights with lots of condensation in the fall and early winter. That could have been the cause. No other plants in the gh have this so perhaps the Bulbo macrobulbum is more susceptible to the cold.
