I really have been looking for this one for a long time. Each time I get one it blooms out as something else.

If anyone has one that they could part with a division of I would be eternally grateful. Cash is in a bit of a short supply right now but I have tons to trade.

You're looking for an entire section of Bulbophyllum.

no, but thanks for trying to correct me Junior. macrobulbon and macrobulbum are actually synonyms when referring to the plant itself. The Macrobulbon section is what you are referring to. Dont worry, it is an easy rookie mistake.

Didn't realize they were interchangeable when referring to the species.

I was just giving you a hard time Chris. I hope you know that.

Yes, when referring to the species they are synonyms.

Well, I guess it disagrees with the latin rules where the names need to agree, um with um, etc. I got my info from Rudy, so I still feel pretty confident in it, but I guess I shouldnt perpetuate it if it is incorrect.

I bought one this year, so mine will be quite a few years before I can divide it.

I don't think dustin ever found one either.. I don't remember ever seeing anyone post pictures of a real one in bloom.

Glen Decker was selling some macro x phal plants that one of the dutch guys had made, I bought one out of curiosity. Still probably 5 years from blooming. I do find it odd that someone would make a cross with a plant, but not ever sell that plant as the species.
