Can anyone here give me advice on how to flower bulbophyllum refractilingue? I have two clones (each with 10+ growths and multiple new leads), and neither of them will flower for me.

    The current culture is:
    - High light
    - Daily water
    - Tree fern and cork
    - Upper end of intermediate
    - Decent airflow

Both have new growths that are a beautiful, shiny purple. Older leaves are a deep green.

    Thanks!

I heard that they need to but around 5 growths to flower. :D

    Sorry. That was completely useless.

Since we have a few more bulbo growers, I thought I would dredge up this thread. Does anyone here grow and flower this species? If so, would you please share any tips? Thanks.

Jon, a friend of mine blooms it well, and he told me that it needs the lower side of light (from moderate light to low light) to bloom. I hope it is helpful.
