It is almost impossible to get this flower to stay still during a photo shoot. It's a 4" flower on a wirey spike. It would drift when my dog would move his head 3' away. I took a bunch of pics, and these are the best two. I wish I could have gotten a better close up. Oh well. Oh yeah... and the flower wilts very quickly when I bring it inside. I took three pics at 13 seconds each, one after another, and the dorsal sepal is noticeably more wilted in each subsequent capture.

This is the 4th or 5th flower I have had on this plant this year, and I've not flowered it prior to this season. It has another half dozen spikes, so maybe I'll be able to get better pics some other time.

    Thanks folks!

I do not think it is, Tom. I only know of three other people in the US who have it. Ron is one.

The other person is the person who the person you got yours from got his from, Ron.

I'm not planning on selfing it right now. I want some serious vegetative growth before I start dinking around with pollen.

Here is a picture I took with my phone one day before work.

Dammit, I want one of these. I haven't seen an orchid that I've had to have for a long time. This is one I want.

These were available for sale at the last WOC imported from one of the asian vendors. My friend got his from there. So, I'm sure there are some folks who bought one at the WOC. Just finding someone with a dividable plant is the hunt. My friend's plant is too small still.
