At this point Candace I want something in writing too. Plus I want to talk with someone in Spanish (their own language) because sometimes there is that barrier of understanding.

Why are you so convinced you're correct, Neyra?

Well to mention of reasons is the fact that I have purchased from many vendors (EOoM, TOF, Carmela's, Clakama's, Hawaiian Orchid Source & Kawamoto, too name a few) and with the exception of Meyers, have never had to get paper work to have plants shipped here. Secondly just because PR is not a state, most people tend to think of it as Foreign country, but the truth of the matter is that US law overrules our own laws especially when incomes to importing and exporting goods. Meaning the same basic federal custom laws that apply to you, apply to me. Have I read the law concerning this? Yes, and it is very open to interpretation in my opinion. I will have to read it again because at the time I read it I was not into plants, much less orchids. (I studied Criminal Justice and one of my teachers worked with the law that deals with the trade of plants and animal into the country.)

I could be wrong, in life there is always a chance of that, but to give everyone the benefit of the doubt I am going to check on Monday.

    You read the actual law?

Neyra, why don't you post in the Wanted forum instead? I thought the for sale/trade forum was for people offering plants for sale and trade, not people looking for plants. If I'm wrong about this, sorry, but I do remember you telling me this about a year ago when you accused me of doing the same thing.

Right on, Candace. I would want something in writing too.

Last time I looked, Andy still had unitubum, Neyra. I haven't checked vendors for a while, I'm trying to back off bringing things in this time of year.

Will be placing order from Andys in Jan, MJ. Spoke to Mr. Padilla today and he told me that he would send me the law and all it's provision on Jan when he got back from Vacation and that he would gladly answer all my questions at that time. Till then I will have to wait. He is a very nice guy, he even answered my call regardless that he happened to be in a meeting at that moment.

Andy has some nice plants. Don't forget to ask him for a phyto certificate. No use in getting everyone in trouble.

Jon why must you be such a pain in the a**. If a vendor requires one to ship I usually pay to get one. Don't see the need for you to keep making assumptions about my intention. FYI I dont want to get anyone in trouble.
