    Hello ☺️
    My cattleya labiata in bloom.

In fact I’m not a big fan of lavender cattleyas in general and labiata as a species in particular - in my opinion, many of them show a mediocre and inharmonious flower shape and an uncovered, straggly column, but I still picked a few plants for myself over the years of collecting.

This is the first flowering of this plant. I’m not disappointed, I suppose my forecast was justified: the flower is large, full, well shaped due to wide petals and sepals, well filled lip, closed column.

    Very fragrant one.
