I have recently bloomed my first Cattleya wallisii/eldorado plants and I love them. I just now learned that C. eldorado is now properly called C. wallisii. So far I have a concolor (with a hint of coerulea from one of its parents) and a tipo that is not especially dark. Both are seed grown plants from Brazil and have a really wonderful sweet fragrance. They are growing well with 65F nights and 80 to 85F days.

I find the concolor very attractive, though I have never cared for the type form of this species.
