Centipedes

Centipedes like damp places, but the big ones don't climb well since they lack the 'hooks' on their feet that many other critters have. In tight spaces, though, they clime pretty well.

 

One day, a guy went to the pet store to find an unusual pet to keep him company. The pet store owner showed him Ernie the talking centipede. "A talking centipede? Are you kidding me?" Sure enough, Ernie could hold quite a conversation in fact. So the guy brought Ernie home. A couple of hours later, the guy asked Ernie if he wanted to go-out for some pizza. Silence. He asked again. Silence. The guy says, "So, you're not talking to me anymore?" Ernie says, "Just hold your horses Bub, I'm putting on my shoes."
