This had three inflorescences this year; one already faded behind a leaf. Large, night-fragrant flowers with bluish tips. A large plant, about 3' tall, hanging sideways in a basket filled with 2/3 large CHC chunks and 1/3 sphagnum, kept moist year-round. The color is more pronounced when grown cooler, but I have it up high for higher light and it gets intermediate to warm conditions. Yes, the lower leaves are shredded. In my crowded little grenhouse, it hangs over large bromeliads and anytime they are moved (outside for suimmer, inside for winter) or the chysis is moved, the thorns shred the leaves. The last time it was divided a saw was required.
