Clarice at one year

    She really is a great dog. I can't think of anything I don't love about her. She is, undoubtedly, one of the best dogs I've ever had, if not the very best.

    I was asked to chronicle her rearing and development. I've done that. 'They' say every kid needs a dog, but I've learned that adults appreciate them more.

    A noble beast to be sure. But she appears to carry a heavy emotional burden. Mayhap she wants a doggie treat?

    A BIG happy birthday to Clarice! Seems only yesterday that she was just a pup sharing
    a recliner with Molly. I bet she gets her own recliner now. Whahahaha!

    Right now, she's this ---><--- close to getting a bath or at least a hose down. She's been playing in the neighbor's muddy sump. Filthy lil' turd. She seems to think it's invigorating.

    Well a mud bath is supposed to do wonderful things for your skin. She's just trying to keep her coat soft and smooth.
