Cochleanthes natural hybrid

    I bought this from a Brazilian vendor in the early 1990's. It is a natural hybrid of (most likely) Cochleanthes wailesiana x marginata. Both are now moved to Warczewiczella, though I haven't changed any labels.

    It is actually a little more blue than the image, it is also fragrant.

    very nice lip , but OMG, why change from something hard to spell and pronounce to something no one can spell or pronounce correctly.

    Even taxonimists need to make a living. ;)

    With the advent of DNA testing, cladograms (like a genetic family tree) are big. My eyes glaze over very quickly when they start to talk. You don't have to change your tags unless you agree and want to change them.

    I say war zi wick ZELLA and nobody yells at me. But I will admit to having to look up how to spell it.
