combining chemicals

    I was wondering if anyone can tell me if combining and insecticide ex. orthene permissible with any fungicide such as captan, aliette, manzate or cleery's?

    I've never mixed orthene with a fungicide for orchids but for years I've mixed diazinon and/or malathion with fungicides for application on roses. Don't do it without more research but the concept of mixing certain pesticides with certain fungicides is routinely done in horticulture.

    FWIW - which may not be much, as it's a different chemical - the commercial product Orthenex was Orthene with a fungicide.

    I occasionally mix Orthene and Cleary's 3336 with no ill effects.
