Bush snails vs Euro trash brown snails

Euro's tend to just munch away eating the whole area where they are.

what kind of damage do bush snails do ? is there MO more of a stripping away of layers of the leaf, flower etc ?? sometimes leaving holes, sometimes paper thins areas are what's left.

I have one Oncidium that is being attacked but i can't find the culprit.
    no pics yet. TIA

Jon, you want to field this one? You know, since it worked out so well for you last time.

I find bush snails eat the root tips. The whole green root tip is gone, and concaved inside, on roots out of the mix. That's usually how I know I have a problem.

I find bush snails in the worst possible place. On the flower, or spike, or bud!
Hate them....squish them when i find them.

I'm thinking I have the good kind of bush snails. You all have the bad kind.
