    Hi all!

New member here ... I got one of these for Christmas and am wondering if anyone has advice (or moral support? :) ). I have read that they are 'difficult', but have had good results with other nigrohirsute types. If anybody has had success growing/blooming this little guy, I'd love to hear any cultural observations you'd care to share. (I'm growing mine mounted, under CFLs, intermediate.)

    TIA! Kelly

    PS. Love the new forum!

Like many nigrohirsute dendrobiums, very little water in the winter. It is less tolerant than a lot of other species of winter watering, so mist or water ocassionally, just enough to keep the pseudobulbs from shriveling.
