No, it doesn't. I don't even know if they are divisions, seed grown, mericlones, collected.

 

I've just been alerted that I had a typo in a previous post that really confused things. Where I said "they are not considered synonyms" what it was supposed to say was "they are NOW considered synonyms."

 

I got mine last August or September. I do have some pollen heading my way of a clone that I know is different so hopefully can set seed.

 

Bill, I'm not willing to pay someone to repackage it for me. I order it from the distributor in 20 or 25 lb bags. You have to call to order, but this is the website: http://www.blackmoreco.com/greencare.html. I don't measure ppm of nitrogen, just total ppm. And yes, I use the RO formula since I have RO water. I do know people who are on city water and use the RO formula also with very good results. If you do buy in bulk, I always bag it up when I get it since in my conditions it takes on moisture if not. ZipLock bags, deli tubs, something like that. Otherwise, someone else may know where to buy it in smaller quantities.

 

I try for 160 to 200 ppm for constant feed.

I had mentioned earlier in the thread that it was total, not nitrogen, but best to re-enforce the point.

 

I have been told that the subuliferum from Japan have no variation in shape and are suspected to be all one clone.

 

I just asked Tom Perlite about these and here is his says that they are all the same clone from Japan. 'Violet Blue' is the clonal name. I guess that limits the gene pool significantly. I believe that the plants I got from a Malaysian vendor were also from Japan.
