    Someone told me it's den. hainanensis,but I look up in FOC and I'm sure it isn't den. hainanensis.
    I'm confused.

    Check out Dendrobium odiosum and Dendrobium hancockii. It might be one of those.

    It is not hancockii. I'm not sure about odiosa as the folliage doesn't look right. Do you have a picture of the whole plant?

    This looks to me to be Dendrobium odiosum. It has the broad rounded petal apices.

    Very interesting. I had always over looked this although I saw it very often in trade in China.
