    Hi!

These are photos of a plant that I've had for at least a dozen years. It's growing quite happily in a container on my front doorstep. I believe it to be the species Den. speciosum but it might be a hybrid. Could anyone here shed some light on that?

It has about a dozen spikes on it. This is the best flowering for this plant in several years.

    Best Regards,
    Nik

I can't say but it's really nice, species or hybrid. I would like to someday have a speciosum.

Maybe one or two of our Aussie members will chime in with an opinion or two. Just tell them you have beer, they'll be here.
So will I, for that matter. :D

That's a nice plant, thanks for the peek.

Sure is a speciosum, maybe an inter-varietal cross Den speciosum var pedunculatum X Den speciosum var curvicaule. According to some botanists these varieties have been given specific status but I'm not going there??
