Duck ID

    taken on the eastern edge of Lake Hodges (escondido,ca)
    I have never seen these ducks before, does anyone recognize the species? and i think the pair of different water birds are Grebes? maybe ?

    Yeah, I can see the similarities...must be nice to have your own grebe.
