ID required for this nice big Epidendrum. It grows near the "Cara del 20211202-IMG_2225.jpg Inca" (Inca face) rock near Ingapirca archeological site. 20211202-IMG_2226.jpg 20211202-IMG_2230.jpg 20211202-IMG_2231.jpg

I don’t know what it is either. However, I love seeing the in situ photos, not only for the orchids but for all of the plants. I see lots of things that interest me. There are what looks like Yucca, Agave, some kind of cactus at the bottom of the top image, then the purple flowering plant (maybe a mallow?). Then of course the ferns.

Gerrit, do you know what some of these other plants are?

It looks not about the newest species Epidendrum mainauanum. And I think it isn't Epidendrum bracteolatum too. Very interesting. Have you ask by Ecuagenera?
I doesn't found anything close to that in Internet. Maybe it is a new spec.

I'm afraid i can't give you the names of the other plants. Difficult enough to get the names of all the orchidspecies I saw. In Ecuador everywhere you look you see something interesting.
