I purchased this as Eriopsis rutidobulbon a few years ago from a Columbian vendor, but when I check Jay's site, it looks more like E.septrum. When I looked at orchidculture.com everything is a synonym of E. biloba. I haven't done any book reseach on this, but wanted to post it anyway.

It was in the exhibit at POE and suffered a bit of mechanical damage.

We must not have reached that one before the guy with the camera got all indignant.

That's really nice. I wish I had seen your exhibit.

I was part of the Four Friends Orchid Group. I didn't take a picture, but I think Karen did. Maybe she can post it. She graciously helped with setting it up.

I saw a photo of your exhibit. That Laelia jongheana..... *thud*

BTW, your Eriopsis looks just like what I've been growing as E. biloba for several years.

There were a lot of great plants in that exhibit.

I asked Ron Parsons about it at the show and he thought it might be biloba. I have another plant labeled biloba that I have not yet bloomed (note the optimism in that phrasing). Whatever it is, I love it.

I love this genus. Very very nice!
I bought one E. biloba few years ago and I think it is spiking for the first time. If so, it will be exciting since I have never seen one in person.

All of the ribbons on that display don't do it justice.
