So we drop the kids off at the groomers and drive on down to the SEPOS show. All we intended to do was run through, check it out and say hi to some folks we haven't seen in a while. Unfortunately most of them sell orchids...... :bang:

First we run into that evil man Andy and his crew. Now.... we love Andy but.... he's just too good of an enabler! And we were weak.

There there was Ecuagenera. Now .... we love Ivan but..... Are ya getting the picture......?

    Here's the damage:

    Andy's -
    Den unicum
    Oberonia sp. aff myosurus
    Cirr facinator
    Dockrillia rigidum
    Chiloschista sp.
    Trichoglottis triflora
    Tolumnia pulchellum
    Pleuro ornata
    Mystacidium capense
    Den capillipes
    Laelia flava
    Laelia sincorana

    Oak Hill -
    Phal javonica
    Phal mannii aurea

    Woodland -
    Pteroceras semiteretifolium

    Fishing Creek -
    Cryptocentrum latifolium
    Encyclia maculosa

    H&R -
    Amesiella monticola
    Den prasinum
    Brassavola glauca 'H&R' x 'Woltman'
    Den aberrans
    Christensonia vietnamica

    Ecuagenera -
    Epi calanthum alba
    Galeandra leptoceras
    Enc oncidiodes
    Enc fragrans
    Enc aspera
and a token hybrid - Phrag Olaf Gruss

Rumor has it there were exhibits too.....

That's it? I suppose you guys are going to that Redland show too, though.

Well done. I know it is really hard work to shop at orchid shows.

And since you only got one Angraecoid, I can well imagine how truly lame that show must have been. It sucks when you have to get a whole bunch of lesser orchids to make up for the lack of available Angs at shows. You have my sympathies. Perhaps someday shows will offer the good stuff.

You got that right. It was such hard work we had to stop at Chaddsford Winery on the way home!

No Dale. We're not going to Redland. We'll be in the Finger Lakes that weekend.

Breeze - I was tempted by several but I thought they were overpriced.

Jon - the ones we have are not doing much. We'll have to see them come around before we think about more. Besides, we were more interested in things that won't resent drying out. (the fascinator doesn't count?)

Tracey - you must have some good vendors out there?

There are a few Eddie. I have to do almost all my buying online though, so that makes my options more limited.

Oh my gosh! I dropped two kids off at the groomers the other day and came straight home. How boring is that!? Great haul, guys. Excellent.
