Full sized images vs thumbnail

It seems that a number of people may not be aware that there is the option to display images as full sized and imbedded in the message as opposed to just the thumbnail. Perhaps it would be possible to have full sized be the default.

I find that I frequently won't click the thumbnails to see the images if I'm not sure I am really interested. But once I've clicked on a thread, I do look at full sized images. It takes extra time to open and close the thumbnails and I have very little of that to spare.
