Getting to know you orchid friends

    Tom Smith here - I'm having problems negotiating this forum - It must get easier as you go. I live and grow orchids in Alpine, Ca . Alpine is a suburb of San Diego - about 30 mi east of SD. Have about 150 orchids mostly Cattleyas - Laleas - Dendrobiums just about anything that will grow OUTSIDE in Alpine. We have rather chilly winters and quite hot summers Do not have green house Orchids grow in a shade structure. I'm a active member of the San Diego Orchid society After 7 yrs of orchiding I am still a novice. Pleasure to be aboard!!!
