Hello my name is Michelle this is my first time posting. I have recently on the last three months purchased a ghost orchid I call Rootie I have him set up in a small aquarium with his light on a timer and a hygrometer to measure the temperature in his tank and the relative humidity . The relative humidity is pretty constant at 52% to 54% . I am wondering if anyone can help me figure out if that is providing around 80% humidity ? This is my first ever attempt at growing any kind of orchid . But Rootie has grown and is a nice bright green ImageUploadedByTapatalk1432772214.922453.jpg . Any thoughts or suggestions please and thank you .

Relative humidity is what the plant responds to, not absolute.
