Sounds like a great way to bring in the New Year! Only thing better than drinking your weight in beer at Vegas would have been winning your weight in bills :poke:

Boozer isn't a big gambler, so it turned out to be a not-so-expensive Vegas vacation.

Sigh..... Thank you, Mary Jane. I guess there's no way around it; I'm gonna have to prepare some now.

I might take you up on that. They don't always have chicken guts at my grocery store.

I think she is referring to water chestnuts. but keep them away from your ponds Dale...they are trouble with a capital T. I always loved Rumaki...one I get past the blood filtering organ of a chicken that is the main ingredient, particularly now with the homones ect that are used in chicken rearing.

We celebrated with friends and the main course was a standing rib roast. I am surprised I didn't fall that night, was drinking Long Island Ice Teas

Thanks, Ron. I don't think the canned ones would pose much of a problem.

Yeah, water chestnuts are what I was talking about.
Tell me about your recipe, please, Dale?

Ummm. Well, there's not really too much to tell. I think I found it in one of the cookbooks here. Or maybe in the newspaper. I really like it and have used it for about 17 years.

Looks yummy MJ, xcept for the Liver, i am pretending it is just a hunk of beef.
Pea soup sounds good as well.

I uncovered the Grill and slapped on some Steaks ( T-bone) and Corn on the Cob.
I was asleep by 6pm, SSDD.
